Job Description

Oversee the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of service and smooth coordination between front and back of house. Responsible for training staff, managing inventory, controlling costs, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Assist the restaurant manager in menu creation and handle customer relations, feedback, and complaints.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Oversee daily restaurant operations
• Train associates to the highest standard of service and assess performance
• Ensure all sequences of service are followed, opening and closing checklist done
• Assist the restaurant manager in the creation of wine list and cocktail menu
• Control operational cost and wastage
• Ensure the front of house remains in good and safe condition for guests and staff
• Responsible for stock management/inventory
• Supervise and control management of linen and breakage
• Responsible for end-of-day report and cash-up
• Coordinate front and back of house operation
• Interact and create relationships with customers
• Collect feedback and handle complaints
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with customers and co-workers

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as assistant restaurant manager in similar establishment
• Bachelor degree in hospitality
• Passion for hospitality
• Good knowledge in health and safety standards
• Computer skills (Office 365, RMS, POS)
• Good English speaking and writing
• Flexible working time depending on business level
