Job Description

The Warehouse Accountant is responsible for managing and recording all warehouse-related accounting activities, including inventory control, stock reconciliation, cost tracking, and ensuring data accuracy between accounting and warehouse systems. This position ensures that all goods movements are recorded correctly and in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Record daily inbound and outbound warehouse transactions in the accounting system.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of inventory data between warehouse and accounting records.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual stock reconciliations with the warehouse team.
• Monitor inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS), and stock adjustments.
• Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies between physical and system inventories.
• Prepare and maintain all warehouse-related accounting documents (receipts, delivery notes, stock transfer vouchers, etc.).
• Support in preparing monthly inventory and cost reports for management.
• Collaborate with the warehouse and purchasing departments to ensure proper documentation of goods receipts and issues.
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with internal accounting and audit requirements.
• Support internal and external audits related to warehouse inventory.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial and inventory data.
• Support cost analysis and budgeting related to warehouse operations.
• Participate in improving warehouse accounting procedures and systems.
• Perform other accounting tasks as assigned by the Chief Accountant or Finance Manager.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in warehouse accounting, inventory control, or general accounting.
• Proficient in MS Excel, ERP (Odoo) and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic English proficiency (reading accounting documents and reports)
